$1196.80/week - Job Summary: Providing supportive care as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a skilled nursing facility, this role focuses on assisting licensed therapists in implementing patient treatment plans. The position emphasizes promoting patient mobility and functional recovery through hands-on therapy techniques. Responsibilities: Assist licensed therapists in developing and executing patient treatment plans. Conduct therapeutic exercises and treatments to improve patient mobility and strength. Monitor and document patient progress, recording vital signs and functional improvements. Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and strategies for recovery. Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of therapy equipment and treatment areas. Comply with all safety, health, and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Proven experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred. Strong understanding of therapeutic modalities and patient mobilization techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective patient and team interactions.
