Radiology - Mammography

Mammography Technician - 1st Timer

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (07:00 - 17:00).

The Mammography Technician will perform various mammography procedures, ensuring quality imaging while adhering to safety protocols. The position requires familiarity with Hologic equipment and is primarily for first-time timer candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms.
• Assist with stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations.
• Maintain a safe environment with proper infection control practices.
• Ensure accurate patient records and imaging documentation using the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Preference for candidates with biopsy experience.
• Must be familiar with Hologic equipment.
