Job Summary:
The labor and delivery department nurse position is based in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role involves caring for patients in the labor and delivery, postpartum, gynecology, neonatal nursery, and neonatal intensive care units. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care during delivery, postpartum recovery, and gynecological procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Bismarck, North Dakota
• Shift: Straight 12-hour nights with some days; every other weekend and holiday
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and gynecology; BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; valid license to submit; experience with fetal monitoring, OBIX documentation, centralized monitoring for labor and delivery, and EPIC for gynecology; previous work experience with healthcare electronic documentation systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: STABLE (Neonatal) certification.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to neonatal nursery and neonatal intensive care units.
• Additional Information:
  • Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks.
  • 36 hours orientation for travelers provided.
  • Assistance in helping hands in neonatal nursery and neonatal intensive care units is expected.
  • Must note if clinician has ever worked for the organization; if previously employed, the end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
  • Candidate requires the license to be submitted prior to start.
