The Fast Food Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager by overseeing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. This position manages a small team of 5-10 staff members and focuses on maintaining quality control, health and safety standards, and efficient order management. The Assistant Manager also participates in staff hiring, training, and development, contributing to a positive and productive work environment without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 5-10 staff members
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly
• Manage inventory control and order management tasks
• Create and maintain staff schedules
• Monitor quality control and compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash and oversee financial transactions accurately
• Train new employees and participate in hiring processes
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fast food management
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong team leadership skills
• Excellent customer service abilities
• Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling
• Knowledge of food safety standards and cash handling
• Effective time management skills
