Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown Registered Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown Registered Nurse with ICU experience for a dynamic position requiring a 5-bed Med-Surg rotation. Candidates must possess extensive knowledge in neuro-progressive care and must be prepared to complete a competency exam and skills checklist upon offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a neuro-progressive/stepdown unit.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown or ICU settings.
• Epic experience is required.
• Completion of neuro-progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer.

Schedule

This position offers a 7A - 7:30P shift, requiring flexibility to float to other units as needed.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
