You'll safely navigate the highway and city streets, back into tight docks, and unload with precision. The CDL A Delivery Driver role goes beyond simply transporting goods - it's about perfecting the craft of delivery, earning trust mile by mile, and serving as a vital link to our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesSafe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe mannerUnloading: Skillfully unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand, placing them in the designated storage areas – 100% touch freightDelivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers & secure signaturesCustomer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experienceEquipment Inspection: Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standardsAccount Management: Handle collections and payments when applicableAdaptability: All other duties assigned by managementPhysical RequirementsLift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift requiredWorking in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) requiredQualificationsRegister to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualificationsMinimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry requiredAbility to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locationsMust be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and recordsCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds).
