Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, ensuring each procedure is communicated clearly and compassionately
• Engage actively with radiologists and referring physicians to furnish high-quality diagnostic imagery
• Handle and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring prompt reporting of malfunctions
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and adhere to best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A completed CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

• Strong technical expertise in sonographic imaging techniques and positioning
