Volunteer Fundraising Campaign Copywriter

Overview This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections. Responsibilities Help us complete a summer peer-to-peer fundraising package: Concise donor-facing messaging and storytelling framework Campaign page and fundraiser profile copy Email sequence and social media templates Peer-to-peer toolkit with outreach scripts Simple launch timeline and process guide Campaign Goals This campaign will recruit new individual donors to increase resources that empower Texas child welfare social workers. The funds and awareness raised will support encouragement, relationship-building, and supports that help social workers stay longer, help children achieve permanency faster, and sustain foster parents. Team Collaboration and Timing We will collaborate closely with the volunteer and provide context about our new nonprofit and campaign goals. We plan to launch at the end of May; specific assets and timelines will be shared during interviews. Our team will implement materials and coordinate fundraisers once finalized.
