AFSCME - FT Burton, MI, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 1803 Salary Range: $29.15 To $39.46 Hourly Educational Requirements Must have at least 2 years of post-secondary education from an accredited dental hygiene program. License Requirements Licensed to practice in Michigan as a dental hygienist and meet other applicable state requirements. Experience At least 2 years’ experience as a dental hygienist providing prophylaxis, sterilization processes and taking X-rays. Additional Requirements Must be willing to work flexible hours including occasional weekends, holidays, or irregular hours. Must have a valid Michigan Driver’s License, current automobile insurance, and the use of a personal vehicle during work hours. Employee must maintain valid licensure to retain employment. Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and co-workers. Keyboarding and computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, electronic medical/health records, and database management. Essential Physical Demands Vision – Position requires the ability to visually assess details at both near and far distances, as well as to perceive depth and spatial relationships with or without reasonable accommodations. Hearing – Position requires the ability to receive and respond to verbal communication with or without reasonable accommodations.
