Housekeeping/laundry

In this entry-level environmental services position, you will be responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms and other facility common areas. You’ll help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for people who live, work and visit CHCC. Responsibilities Receive daily direction from the environmental services director. Establish a routine for completing housekeeping routes, and complete routes thoroughly and on time. Empty trash, dust, mop, sweep and wash various equipment. Safely use chemicals and follow all safety precautions. Assist with room changes and discharges, move equipment and supplies around the healthcare center. Support the laundry department as needed. Demonstrate the proper use of personal protective equipment in isolation rooms and infectious areas. See job description for additional duties. Qualifications Previous work experience in healthcare settings is preferred . Able to lift up to 50 pounds. High school diploma/GED is preferred.
