Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU

Location

Boone, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 2 Weekends Per Month Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a standard ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Float to IMCU and Med/Surg units as patient volume requires
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients as part of routine ICU care
• Provide care to pediatric patients on an as-needed basis when they present to the unit
• Adhere to unit protocols, documentation standards, and scrub dress code (all white or all navy)

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license or multistate compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required (BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be AHA-issued)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR required
• Must be willing and able to float within the hospital
• Must reside 40 or more miles from the facility; driver's license required for address verification prior to offer acceptance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing ventilated patients in an ICU environment
• Comfort and experience caring for pediatric patients in an adult ICU setting
