Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) | Fort Myers, FL (13-Week Contract)

We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a rehab team in Fort Myers, Florida . This contract offers guaranteed hours and the chance to help patients improve independence and quality of life while enjoying all the beauty Southwest Florida has to offer.

Position Details

• Location: Fort Myers, FL

• Start Date: ASAP

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: 40 hours/week (5x8s or facility schedule)

• Setting: Outpatient / Rehab (varies by facility need)

Requirements

• Active Florida OT license

• Current BLS certification

• Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience (rehab or outpatient preferred)

• Strong background in patient assessment, therapy planning, and functional recovery

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create individualized treatment plans

• Guide patients in therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living

• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet goals

• Collaborate with rehab and interdisciplinary care teams

• Educate patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies

• Maintain accurate documentation per facility and state requirements
