As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. The Network Deployment Engineering (NDE) team introduced new technology to Google's network and infrastructure. The team's mission is to deliver Network for Google to meet customers’ needs by managing deployment readiness, working with cross-functional partners and measuring introduction velocity against program plans. NDE is a key connection between the organization of Google Global Networking and Infrastructure and other engineering teams throughout the Cloud. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Evaluate the ability to deploy at scale across Google's network by working across Technical Infrastructure (TI) and Cloud. Align priorities across organizations and work streams to ensure hardware and software system workflows come together in the needed time frame. Build the technological and process knowledge necessary to assess NPI readiness through a series of communications, reviews, and retrospectives. Enable other teams to prepare for seamless delivery of capacity using the new technology through strategic communication.
