Maintenance Coordinator

Maintenance Coordinator - supporting 700+ units ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance operations, turns and vendor relationships. As a Maintenance Coordinator, you will be the central point of contact between maintenance staff, vendors, and residents, ensuring that all maintenance requests are promptly addressed and resolved. RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and schedule all maintenance work orders and inspections for multiple properties. Communicate effectively with residents regarding maintenance requests and updates. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs. Support the maintenance team in tracking inventory and ordering parts and supplies. Assist in preparing maintenance reports and budget forecasts. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Assist with emergency maintenance coordination as needed. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance coordination, property management, or related field preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in property management or related courses is a plus. SKILLS Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision. Customer-service oriented mindset. Prior experience in maintenance coordination or property management preferred. Knowledge of maintenance operations including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general repairs is a plus. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with work order software beneficial. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with various stakeholders. Valid driver's license may be required depending on property locations.
