Night Shift Registered Nurse - 13 Week Contract

Location: Louisiana

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night position: 7 PM - 7 AM, working 7 days on and 7 days off.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position in a 16-bed ICU unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 3:1, ensuring a focus on high-quality patient care and support.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care in the ICU setting.
Monitor and assess patient conditions continually.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current RN license in the state of Louisiana.
Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting.
Must be a Joint Commission Accredited agency nurse.
Candidates must not reside permanently within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
