Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety by communicating each step of the procedure with transparency and care
• Engage with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure top-notch diagnostic output
• Maintain ultrasound equipment in optimal condition and address any technical issues immediately
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records using the electronic medical system
• Stay informed of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
