Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical patients per physician orders and care plans
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and document in the electronic health record
- Assess patient condition regularly; report changes to the care team and escalate as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other care professionals to coordinate patient care
- Ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to quality metrics
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN)
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
- Ability to work in a hospital medical-surgical setting
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (3x per week) and participate in a travel temporary assignment
- Relevant nursing experience in acute-care or medical-surgical units is preferred
