Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in SUNNYVALE, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will also support a welcoming environment with strong communication and customer service. Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the building, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, observations, and/or incidents.
• Support branch operations by communicating with staff, visitors, and/or local responders during routine activities and unexpected situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Security-related experience of at least 6 months is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
