CT Technologist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and various imaging modalities including CT scans, X‑rays, and PET scans. As a CT Technologist, you will ensure patient safety and comfort while providing accurate imaging results that aid in effective diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort. Operate CT equipment safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and ensure comprehensive patient care. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. Stay updated with advancements in imaging technology and techniques, including sonography and mammography. Requirements Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with a focus on Computed Tomography (CT). Strong knowledge of diagnostic radiology practices, including X‑ray, PET scan, and sonography. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to the field of radiology. Understanding of human physiology as it relates to imaging techniques.
