Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out comprehensive evaluations of patients, recommending and ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and crafting individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, collaborating with physicians or practicing autonomously based on credentials
• Instructing patients and their families on disease prevention, wellness practices, and effective management of health conditions
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of practice
• Engaging in follow-ups and chronic care management for patients
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth, comprehensive care for all patients
• Meticulously documenting all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited NP program

Necessary Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in California
• Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capability to obtain within 90 days)
