School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and a minimum of one year of speech‑language pathology experience are required. Candidates who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Location: Tyler, TX Start: August 12, 2026 - May 21, 2027 Job Type: Full‑Time Caseload: Details discussed in an interview Pay: Hourly, $28+ (dependent on experience) Responsibilities Collaborate with licensed Speech‑Language Pathologists to implement speech and language therapy programs for students. Work with individuals or small groups to address communication goals. Provide support in the assessment and documentation of students' progress. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a holistic and effective support system. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans. Qualifications Valid Texas Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license. Bachelor’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or related field. Experience working with school‑aged children is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
