Summary:


Our award-winning client is seeking a Legal Assistant / Paralegal to join their team. Join our esteemed litigation team in Baton Rouge as a Legal Assistant and be a key player in our success! In this fast-paced role, you'll provide comprehensive support to our attorneys, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities :


  • Leverage technology to streamline workflows and maximize attorney efficiency.
  • Prepare legal documents with accuracy, and manage electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Maintain attorney calendars, schedule appointments, and manage client contacts.
  • Assist with conflict checks, billing matters, and client expense reimbursement.
  • Maintain excellent client rapport with discretion and professionalism.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma (Associate's degree a plus).
  • 3+ years of litigation secretarial experience.
  • Strong legal terminology and software skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.
