Location: Portland, OR
Duration: 26 Weeks (Extension Possible)

Schedule

Night Shift
10-Hour Shifts
8:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Compensation

Travel Pay: $1,300–$1,730/week (based on experience)

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with a strong background in managed care pharmacy operations. This role supports pharmacy benefit management functions, including prior authorizations, claims processing, eligibility reviews, audits, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel skills and experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial pharmacy plans.

Required Qualifications

Active Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
Minimum 2 years of managed care pharmacy experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Key Responsibilities

Process pharmacy prior authorizations and pharmacy claims
Support pharmacy benefit operations and member eligibility reviews
Communicate with members, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams
Research and resolve claims, authorization, and medication-related issues
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Analyze pharmacy data and generate reports using advanced Excel functions
Assist with audits and quality assurance activities
Support Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plan pharmacy operations
