Finance Coordinator

Finance CoordinatorWe are looking for an experienced Finance Coordinator to help our company perform supportive duties in finance for the Corporate Management Team.Finance Coordinator Responsibilities Are:Ensuring accounts payable are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental proceduresExamines and analyses financial statements, company credit cards, bank statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standardsReconciling purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other chargesReconcile monthly statements, budgets and journal entriesPrepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecastsConduct financial analysis to identify trends and make recommendations for improvementEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirementsPerform SOX audit as directed by managers, including but not limited to gathering samples and organizing for submission for reviewPerform other duties as assigned by managementFinance Coordinator Requirements Are:Education:(Required) high school diploma or GED(Preferred) bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience(Preferred) bachelor's degree; accounting or business administration or economics majorExperience:(Preferred) previous relevant experience(Preferred) previous experience in the manufacturing industryLanguage:(Required) good command of written and spoken EnglishSkills & Knowledge:Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resourcesEconomics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial dataMathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applicationsClerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminologyCritical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsReading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documentsActive Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate timesMonitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective actionPhysical Demands:Must be able to frequently move about the manufacturing plant campus, general office environments, production areas, and occasionally ascend/descend stairsMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeMust be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machineryMust be able to position self to file documents including the top and bottom drawers of file cabinetsMust be able to occasionally move office equipment and supplies weighing up to 25 poundsBenefits:401(k), 401(k) matchingHealth insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurancePaid Time OffPaid HolidaysHankook Tire is an equal opportunity employer.
