We hope you will join us!Our Values - The Trolley Way:No excusesDo the right thingCan-do attitudeAlways growingHelp first-be a part of the solutionTransparency and honesty-no BSPlease visit our website at to learn more!About You:You are energized by helping others celebrate important eventsYou are naturally able to build rapport with customers Providing excellent customer service brings you joyAttention to detail is your superpowerYou seek out opportunities to 'leave it better than you found it'You're not afraid to learn from your mistakesYou want to be a part of a growing company that values their employeesHow You Will Make an Impact:Review the event worksheet before arriving at the event--be knowledgeable about the event you are working, timeline, bar type, food, etc. Check in with the Event Captain or Co-Captain when you arrive at the event and when you leave.Help unload the GG vehicle and set up the bar area and all appropriate glassware.During the event, prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests, answer questions about drink ingredients and make suggestions for different types of beverages and cocktails.Verify that all guests served alcohol are of the legal drinking age. If the event has a cash bar, take payments for drinks (cash or credit, using the Square app).At the end of the event, clean up the bar area; pack all beer and wines back into the appropriate boxes.Assist with the general breakdown of the event; ensure no food, plates, beverages, or other debris remain behind and that rentals are neatly stacked in the appropriate location. What You Bring to the Table:2+ years of bartending experience, preferably in a catering/banquet settingAble to follow directions and work independentlyEffective verbal communication skillsThis is a very physical position--must be able to bend, twist, lift at least 50 pounds, and stand on your feet for long periods of timeThe Good Stuff:$20/hr + occasional tipsDiscounts at all Trolley House Hospitality companies including catering services, Gourmet Gang Delis, and vending items in our warehousePart-time employees who work at least 1,000 hours a year are eligible for 401k matching after the first yearFlexible scheduling--perfect for someone looking for a second job!
