Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Candidates must have experience in EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery. The shift is from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role requires the ability to work rotating weekends and no on-call requirements. The unit has 32 beds with a staff of 150. The staffing ratio accommodates 1:1 or 1:2 for both day and night shifts. The required equipment includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and Ultrasound. Typical procedures performed on the unit include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential for success in this role. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs, with solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only acceptable. Candidates will be considered favorably if they have internal monitor placement competency or prior employment experience within the health system. This unit is known for high-volume cases and offers opportunities to work with new technologies and equipment.
