Warehouse Associate
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with one of the world’s largest electronic device producers and a Fortune Global 500 company in La Vergne TN area, is seeking Warehouse Associates to join their team!
Warehouse Associate Job Summary:
- Pay: $19.50 an hour
- Shift: 2nd
- Manage incoming material verifications
- Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards
- Help Maintain a team-oriented environment
- Help resolve fulfillment issues
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative.
- Flexibility to change direction frequently with little notice.
- Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work with or near machinery.
- Able to handle routine assignments of a repetitive nature.
- Able to perform repetitive motion with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Able to squat to lift boxes weighing up to 65 pounds.
- Able to stand, stoop and bend.
- Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods.
- Able to work in warehouse environment with no central heat or air.
- Able to operate pallet jack
