EP Operations Finance Controller

Abbott seeks an Operations Finance Controller for its Electrophysiology division in Irvine, California. The role involves leading financial planning, analysis, and controls for a manufacturing site while partnering with operations leadership to drive strategic business decisions and ensure regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain financial systems and controls for manufacturing site operations
- Conduct monthly P&L and balance sheet close procedures and variance analysis
- Develop annual product cost standards and manage capital investment analysis
- Partner with operations teams on budget decisions and financial strategy presentations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, and corporate policies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7+ years combined general accounting experience
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Power BI
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Results-oriented with strong managerial background and business acumen
- Manufacturing accounting background preferred, including cost accounting
Compensation: $130,700–$261,300 base
