Concessions Cook - Lumen FieldBecome a part of the Levy team at Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, OL Reign, and world-class concerts and events. As a Concessions Cook, you will be responsible for preparing concession menu items during stadium events, operating kitchen equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring high food quality standards and in creating excellent guest experiences. This is a part-time, event-based, union position.Compensation & BenefitsUnion Pay Rate: $27.85 per hour + tips on event daysFree ParkingStaff meal provided each shiftPro Shop employee discountEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Handling the cooking and packaging of food product which are prepared to order or kept warm until soldFollow direction from supervisors and support team successMaintains quality and production standards on all menu items.Maintains knowledge of menu items specific to locationAdapt quickly to menu changes, special requests, and event demandsMonitors portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand.Maintain proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature controlsOperating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and ovensFosters a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environmentKeep kitchen, prep, and service areas clean, organized, and safeMaintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areasComplies with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation proceduresAdheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in the team member training manual and employee handbookPerforms other duties as assignedJob Requirements:Experience working as a cook in a fast-food environment or similar experience is preferredAble to operate standard kitchen equipment including the broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer and chef knifeAbility to effectively communicate with managers and other team membersWillingness to handle and serve all varieties of food (including, but not limited to poultry, pork, beef, dairy, etc.)Ability to stand and walk for long periods of timeParticipate in concessions tip poolAbility to complete digital onboarding materials and electronic employment verificationBlack non-slip shoes required when workingPossess & maintain valid Washington State Food Worker CardLevy is a member of Compass Group USACompass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
