Vice President

Vice PresidentSCS is seeking a Vice President to join the New York office. As a part of a client relationship team dedicated to serving the financial and investment needs of clients, the VP will work with the team to ensure that SCS clients continue to receive a world class experience. We are seeking candidates who are well organized, energetic, and team-oriented. The right candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who has excellent communication skills and attention to detail. This person must be willing to provide the highest level of client service, professionalism, and confidentiality. Furthermore, this person must be able to efficiently prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.Primary ResponsibilitiesActively manage and oversee the client's investment and financial plansPrepare client meeting presentations and oversee any manual reporting coordinationEffectively analyze, develop solutions, and communicate sophisticated wealth management topics in a concise, understandable mannerParticipate in client meetings and assist with client inquiries and requests in a timely mannerServe as first point of contact for some clientsThink creatively and strategically about client needsCapitalize on experience to drive process and efficiency improvementsSupport new business development activitiesQualificationsMinimum of a Bachelor's degree; CFP or CFA designation highly preferred5-7+ years of relevant professional experience in an investment, wealth management, estate planning, or tax/accounting environmentFluency in planning and/or investment topicsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applicationsExcellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skillsAnalytical with a strong attention to detail; Problem solve effectivelyHigh energy and highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsWillingness to travel on occasion for client meetingsThis position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $140,000-$160,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
