Job Highlights Provide care to patients on assigned unit under the direction of a Registered Nurse Perform tasks such as vital signs monitoring, 12-Lead EKGs, bladder ultrasounds, blood glucose checks, Foley catheter and IV adapter removal, specimen collection, and assisting with bathing, feeding, turning, and ambulating patients Assist with patient admissions, preparation for discharge, and implementing patient-specific care plans Maintain hourly rounding, assist with safety protocols, and provide emotional support to patients Ensure a safe environmentfor patients and deliver a positive, high-quality experience Candidate Profile Current CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program or at least one nursing clinical rotation is preferred 1+ year of relevant experience in a medical office is required Must have basic computer proficiency for charting and patient documentation Relevant soft skills include interpersonal skills, prioritization, collaboration, and ability to follow directions Additional Information Locations include Chicago (Northside), Evanston, Arlington Heights, Naperville, Skokie, and Elmhurst, IL Overnight, weekend, and holiday shift differentials are available Full-time and part-time (16 & 24 hour) schedules Location Evanston Benefits Dental;Employee Assistance;Life Insurance;Long Term Disability;Medical;Paid Training/Personal Development;Parent Leave;Personal;Retirement/401K;Rx/Pharmacy Benefits;Short Term Disability;Sick;Transportation Reimbursement;Tuition Reimbursement;Vacation;Vision
