Our state-approved program is designed to prepare compassionate, dependable individuals for a rewarding career in long-term care. Upon successful completion of the course and certification requirements, graduates will have the opportunity to join the team as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED Preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age (or meet state requirements)
Compassionate, dependable, and eager to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen

Essential Responsibilities During Training

Learn the fundamentals of resident care
Assist residents with activities of daily living under supervision
Learn infection prevention and safety procedures
Develop communication and customer service skills
Observe and report changes in resident condition
Practice proper documentation techniques
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, and respect
Successfully complete all classroom and clinical requirements
