What You Will Need:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a healthcare leadership role; additional nursing supervision and management experience in Skilled Nursing and/or Assisted Living is desirable.
Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications, PowerPoint, Excel, and Vision.
Experience with electronic medical records preferred.
Expertise in wound care, quality improvement, MDS, Fall Management, Infection Control, and standards of LTC documentation guidelines preferred.
Current Registered Nurse license for the state in which you operate.
CPR/First Aid training preferred.

How You Will Make an Impact:

Coordinate and implement the comprehensive and resident-centered delivery of nursing services to all continuing care residents.
Partner with the Administrator to complete monthly budget variance reports and maintain an operating budget for the Department of Nursing.
Manage the survey process and all regulatory compliance visits.
Monitor staffing, scheduling, and payroll in continuing care.
Ensure appropriate staff is provided based on resident acuity and provide recommendations based on identified needs.
Partner with clinical leaders to monitor and analyze clinical trends.
Develop, implement, and provide in-service and continuing education programs to staff.
Collaborate with Home Care and outpatient clinical leaders to follow established standards for resident transition.
Meet with the Medical Director and Director of Continuing Care to review quality trends and regulatory compliance.
Implement a person-centered approach to care, focusing on the resident's strengths while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
