Work Environment This role operates primarily in a remote environment, offering flexibility while delivering critical support to clients. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with assigned clients to conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy focusing on symptoms of major mental illness and emotional disorders. Develop and implement integrated care plans that include safety management, resource coordination, and ongoing assessments to ensure the effective delivery of services. Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and facilitate more comprehensive evaluations as necessary, connecting clients with the appropriate support. Participate actively as a team member, collaborating with fellow clinicians and support staff to meet common goals and enhance patient outcomes. Monitor the progress of clients by overseeing treatment services, ensuring they meet their unique therapeutic objectives while adhering to ethical standards. Exercise crisis intervention techniques when needed to stabilize clients in acute distress, ensuring safety and emotional support. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with organizational protocols. Provide on-call support to clients as assigned, extending care beyond regular hours when necessary. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients served by the Inner Strength Therapy Center often come from diverse backgrounds and present with a variety of complex psychological challenges, including but not limited to severe depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our services are tailored to address the nuanced needs of individuals in crisis as well as those seeking ongoing mental health support. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas is mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in mental health settings. Proficient in conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse environment. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in all clinical interactions. Preferred Experience Experience working with clients in detox or addiction recovery settings is a plus. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). A background in social justice or community health initiatives can enhance the candidate's fit within our organization. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this role ranges between USD 70,000 and 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
