Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Surgery - $34-57 per hour

Job Overview Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for day‑surgery practice in Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts. Position Details Specialty: Day Surgery Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Sign‑on Bonus: Up to $15,000 (based on eligibility) Responsibilities This role provides direct clinical patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care on a per‑shift basis for assigned patients and at the unit level. The RN shoulders responsibility for: Direct patient care and overall coordination based on the nursing process. Supervision of delegated staff and ensuring high‑quality, safe, and effective nursing care. Maintaining competency of clinical staff and appropriate resource management. Adhering to established standards of safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control, aiming for optimal patient discharge. Coordinating and planning patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Executing all Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disasters. Knowing and responding to the hospital’s emergency codes in accordance with policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Education: Graduation from a state‑approved or accredited school of nursing. Certification: Current license, certification, or registration to practice as required by state law or hospital policy. CPR certification. Preferred Qualifications Education: Academic degree in nursing (bachelor’s or master’s).
