Franklin Veterinary Clinic is looking to add an experienced Veterinary Technician or CVT to our highly collaborative, fast-paced small animal practice in Franklin, Massachusetts.

We are a busy four-doctor general practice with a loyal client base and a strong reputation within the community. Many of our clients have been with the practice for years, and we value building long-term relationships rooted in trust, education, and compassionate care.

Highly collaborative DVM team with daily rounds and regular case discussions

Technicians are utilized at a high level and encouraged to fully use their skills

Staff work fluidly throughout the hospital rather than being permanently assigned to one doctor

Dedicated surgery support assignments on surgery days

Assisting veterinarians with medical, surgical, and dental procedures

Surgical preparation, anesthetic monitoring, and recovery care

Performing laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing

Client communication and education

Maintaining accurate medical records

Supporting technician appointments and treatment workflows

Collaborating closely with the entire hospital team to provide efficient, high-quality patient care

Consistent 4-day work week

Set schedules

Rotating every-other Saturday schedule

Daily lunch/catch-up period built into the schedule

Regular team meetings and collaborative rounds

Compensation for this role ranges from $25$29/hour, based on credentialing, technical skill set, and relevant veterinary experience.

High school diploma or equivalent

Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT) or License (LVT) highly preferred but not required

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is required
