Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Aberdeen, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, located near the Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest, is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 13-week contract offers the opportunity to work nights with flexible scheduling, including every other weekend off, and the ability to pick up additional shifts. Candidates must possess a current Washington State license or Multi-state license and meet verifications such as approved suicide training and demographics verification from Nursys. Job Details Position: Medical Surgical Floor Nurse Location: Near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Start Date: 08/31/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Required qualifications: Valid Washington State license or Multi-state license, approved 6-hour suicide training, verification of demographics from Nursys, current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, knowledge of Meditech (helpful but not required), ability to float to other departments, team player, willingness to work nights and weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in medical surgical nursing is desirable but not required. Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other departments in rotation. RTO must be approved and added to the end of the contract. Candidate should be prepared for travel and accommodations arrangements (e.g., Econolodge or furnished studio apartments), with several lodging options available nearby.
