Job Description
Richfield Area Pet Clinic is looking for an experienced, qualified Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We are a single-doctor practice that takes pride in providing excellent, compassionate care to our patients and their families. We are looking for a mature, dependable professional with solid clinical experience who enjoys working with dogs and cats and understands the importance of great client service.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience
- Mature, responsible, dependable
- Self starter who takes initiative and doesn't need to always be told what needs to be done.
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and dispositions
- Basic knowledge of veterinary exam, treatment, and surgery protocols.
- Able to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional with both pets and clients.
- Able to multi-task in a busy veterinary environment
9. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
We offer a convenient small town location. Reasonable hours with no weekends or after-hours emergencies, flexible scheduling and a friendly, close-knit work environment. Pay is competitive and will depend on experience, skills and performance.
