School Nurse (LPN or RN) - 1:1 Student Care

Location: Arlington, VA and Alexandria, VA

Pay: $30-$35/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift (School Hours)

Job Type: Per Diem, Full-Time

Responsibilities

Provide dedicated 1:1 care for a student during the school day
Monitor and manage medical needs, including:
- Seizure disorders (Diastat administration)
- Tracheostomy care
- G-tube feedings
- Type 1 diabetes (insulin administration, pump support)
Administer medications per physician orders
Follow individualized care plans (IEPs/medical plans)
Maintain a safe and supportive school environment

Qualifications

Active LPN - License Practical Nurse
Current CPR/BLS certification
Pediatric, home health, or school nursing experience preferred (not required)
