Ideally, the successful candidate will be in their fourth or fifth year of study and willing to work an average of 30 hours per week. Around 40% of the work should be carried out in the office; the remainder can be done remotely.**Your responsibilities:*** Support the Accounting team in daily operational activities, including document processing, vendor account maintenance, and handling incoming requests through shared mailboxes.* Assist in maintaining and updating process documentation, work instructions, and team knowledge repositories to ensure information is accurate and up to date.* Collect, prepare, and organize data for reports, dashboards, KPI tracking, and other management information needs.* Prepare materials for meetings and support the team by taking notes, documenting actions, and following up on agreed next steps.* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by gathering data, supporting process reviews, and participating in problem-solving activities.* Develop knowledge of Accounting processes, systems, and tools through training, job shadowing, and hands-on involvement in daily operations.* Provide general administrative support, including coordinating meetings, maintaining trackers, and assisting with team events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing activities.**Our requirements:*** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.* Fluent English and Polish language skills, both written and spoken.* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with financial data, documentation, and routine accounting tasks.* Good analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and work with numerical data.* Good skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, and basic formulas) and willingness to learn accounting and workflow systems such as SAP and ServiceNow.* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing in a team environment.* Reliable, adaptable, and service-oriented, with a high level of professionalism, ownership, and commitment to confidentiality when handling financial information.**About VELUX**In the VELUX Group, we offer you a world of opportunities and the chance to create a bright future.
