Who You Are We're looking for a seasoned Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor with: 4+ years of technical experience Leadership experience in a veterinary setting Strong emotional intelligence, organization, and people skills A love for pets and a genuine enjoyment of working with humans A fast-paced learning style and a go-getter attitude Charisma and the ability to build trust with clients and teammates Clear, confident communication in person and over the phone The ability to stay calm on hectic days A self-aware approach to burnout prevention Someone who stays curious, looks for ways to keep improving, and genuinely wants to grow in this field A desire to help others develop and thrive We want a leader who supports the team, elevates standards, and protects our culture. What Youll Do This role blends leadership with hands-on technician work. Youll work 3640 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with rotating Saturdays, and occasional cat boarding Training, mentoring, and coaching the technical team Ensuring protocols and medical standards are followed Supporting medical knowledge, client communication, and workflow efficiency, keeping the practice manager aware of team needs and challenges Overseeing surgery and treatment area operations Managing appointment flow Ensuring staffing and schedule coverage Conducting 45- and 90-day reviews, quarterly reviews, daily huddles, and weekly Maintaining a supportive, professional, and positive environment Your technical work will include: Assisting doctors in appointments Scheduling your team Surgical prep and anesthesia for surgeries and dentals Phlebotomy and PRP, Radiographs (dental and full body) Laser and PulseVet therapy Educating clients Fear Free handling Vaccinations, nail trims, cytology, and ear treatments IDEXX in-house lab work & machine maintenance Prescriptions and pharmacy support Housekeeping and team support Welcoming puppy and kitten appointments What We Offer You Starts at $32/hour 401(k) with 4 percent match Generous health, dental, and vision stipend PTO and holiday pay Aflac CE and advanced learning opportunities Discounted pet care A supportive, people-first team that invests in your growth What We Need From You A leader who understands our mission and values Someone who can inspire, mentor, and set a high standard A teammate who protects our culture Someone who advocates fiercely for patients and supports their coworkers The ability to multitask with compassion and patience A person who manages time well and takes their lunch break because burnout helps no one Someone who accepts that mistakes happen and learning matters A human who wants to be part of a team that laughs, grows, and supports one another If this sounds like you, we'd be proud to call you part of our team. #J-18808-Ljbffr Vetcelerator
