You’ll build strong relationships and expand your resume by supporting the expanded SAILS and STEPs programs, delivering direct service to students with hearing impairments or limited verbal communication. Qualifications:

• State and district requirements for Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) level.
• 0–3 years experience preferred; higher compensation for 4–6 and 7+ years.
• Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Prior school-based or educational interpreting strongly desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person or hybrid sign language interpretation for students in mainstream and special communication programs.
• Collaborate with educators and evaluation teams to support students with hearing impairments and nonverbal needs.
