Are you a strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence, team development, and delivering exceptional service to island communities? We are seeking an experienced Regional Manager of Operations to oversee a portfolio of homeowner and condominium associations focusing on the Sanibel and Captiva market.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational performance, supporting Community Association Managers (CAMs), strengthening client relationships, and ensuring the highest standards of service across a diverse portfolio of communities.

About the Role

The Regional Manager of Operations serves as a key member of the leadership team and acts as a trusted partner to community boards, executive leadership, and onsite management teams. This individual will provide strategic oversight, mentor and develop management staff, ensure compliance with Florida statutes, and continuously improve operational processes and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned association management professional with strong leadership skills, financial acumen, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Coach, mentor, and develop Community Association Managers and support staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development.
  • Support succession planning and talent retention initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service excellence.
  • Assist with staffing assessments and operational workforce planning.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a portfolio of communities.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor service delivery metrics and operational performance standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and enhanced client satisfaction.
  • Partner with CAMs to resolve complex resident, vendor, and board-related issues.

Board & Client Relations

  • Develop strong relationships with Board Members and community stakeholders.
  • Attend Board meetings and annual membership meetings as needed.
  • Support CAMs in preparing for board presentations and strategic planning discussions.
  • Assist in client retention efforts and community transitions.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) License.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent management experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of community association management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a regional, director-level, or multi-site leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida HOA and Condominium statutes.
  • Experience managing large-scale, luxury, master-planned, or condominium communities.
  • Proven success leading managers and operational teams.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

This position requires regular travel throughout Sanibel and Captiva communities and periodic attendance at evening board meetings.
