Quality Engineer

Position Description
Join a Quality Engineering practice supporting AI and workforce management related testing efforts for a high profile client program. This role offers hands on ownership of test strategy, automation, and quality practices in a fast paced, collaborative Agile environment.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans, including test plans, manual and automated test cases, and requirements traceability 
Build and maintain UI and API test automation using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and/or Python 
Validate RESTful APIs using Postman and verify database integrity using SQL 
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups and sprint planning, to identify and communicate quality risks early 
Log, triage, track, and manage defects through resolution

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
8+ years of experience in software QA, testing, or engineering 
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, SQL, and Unix/Linux scripting 
Hands on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and/or Cypress 
Experience with CI/CD tools and technologies, including Jenkins, Git, and Docker 
Experience working in Agile development environments 
Experience in a regulated industry, such as financial services or healthcare, preferred

Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $158,700.00.
