What You'll Do
- Perform radiation therapy procedures for cancer and osteoarthritis patients, including SBRT, IMRT, and breathhold treatments
- Operate Trilogy and/or Trubean radiation therapy machines
- Maintain accurate treatment records and operational reports
- Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality care tailored to individual diagnosis and needs
- Assist in maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment for the department
- Collaborate with a team of two therapists per machine to handle 15-25 patients daily
What You Need
- Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
- Valid MRT and RRT licenses in Louisiana
- BLS certification from AHA
- 2+ years of radiation therapy experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills
