Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Medsurg/ED Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic clinical environment. The role involves working in Medsurg (inpatient, observation, swingbed), Emergency Room, and Outpatient Infusion settings, managing a range of patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Medsurg and ED settings.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, including those with common diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, post-operative cases, pneumonia, UTI, and failure to thrive.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in emergency response protocols as needed in the ED.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of nursing experience required, with a strong background in Medsurg and ED.
• Current and valid RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module must be active and included in the profile.
