Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine ( DO )

Performance Ortho

Osteopathic Physician

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment

Full Time Flex Across Four Clinics

Watchung, Branchburg, Hillsborough and Somerset, New Jersey | Full time

$225,000 to $275,000 annual base salary

You Are Meant to Be Here

Bring hands-on osteopathic care to patients across our four New Jersey clinics. At Performance Ortho, our mission is to transform lives with love. You will provide OMT as your core service and work closely with our physician and rehabilitation teams to help patients understand their care and pursue meaningful functional goals.

What You Will Own

  • Assess musculoskeletal concerns, complete medical and osteopathic structural examinations, and create individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide appropriate OMT with informed consent, attention to contraindications, and reassessment of response.

  • Educate patients about activity, self-management, prevention, and follow-up; recognize concerns requiring escalation or referral.

  • Coordinate care across disciplines and complete accurate, timely documentation that supports safe, connected care.

Location and Schedule

Rotate among Watchung, Branchburg, Hillsborough, and Somerset. Your Clinic Director will plan weekday sessions, documentation and care-coordination time, and office assignments with you. There is no weekend work. Business travel is handled under company policy.

The Performance Way

Bring empathy, ownership, accountability, and curiosity. Put mission first and team over self, speak up thoughtfully, seek feedback, and help others succeed. You will report to the Clinic Director.

What You Bring

  • A DO degree and completion of an ONMM residency or a one-year OMT or OMM fellowship by your clinical start date.

  • An active, unrestricted New Jersey physician license before clinical practice, and relevant specialty board certification or board eligibility by that date.

  • Demonstrated OMT competency, clear patient communication, dependable documentation, and ability to meet credentialing, payer-enrollment, and professional-liability requirements.

Preferred experience includes ONMM board certification, outpatient musculoskeletal care, medication management, injections, ultrasound or other procedures, and ambulatory surgery center workflows. Expanded clinical services follow the appropriate competency and privilege requirements. Recent residency or fellowship completers are welcome when required qualifications are met.

Your Start and Growth

Orientation, clinical workflows, team relationships, feedback, and shared 30-, 60-, and 90-day conversations support your start. Clinical readiness determines progression. You can grow through specialty depth, learning, mentoring, and improving care.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual base salary is $225,000 to $275,000. Placement reflects relevant training, OMT competency, specialty depth, assignment scope, and internal equity. The full-time package is based on salary; any separately negotiated physician incentive is documented in a written agreement.

  • Medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D, disability, and other eligible coverage options under current plan terms. The provider medical contribution equals 75% of employee-only Performance Balance coverage; dependent coverage and upgrades follow the plan's cost-sharing rules.

  • A 401(k) plan with a company match of up to 4% when eligible employees contribute at least 5%, subject to plan eligibility and entry rules.

  • Vacation and Personal Time, New Jersey Earned Sick Leave, designated company holidays, and other approved leave under current policies.

  • Up to $750 annually for eligible provider continuing-education expenses, subject to program guidelines, plus structured onboarding and development conversations.

Professional-liability coverage and physician-specific terms are addressed in the written physician agreement. Benefit eligibility, coverage, contributions, and administration follow the governing plan and policy documents.
