Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Accounting team. This full-time, year-round position supports financial operations, homeowner accounting, cash management, and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic resort environment. This is an onsite position.Key Responsibilities:Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor including cash/deposit in transit accounts, accounts receivable, prepaid accounts, liability accounts, etc. and follows through on appropriate action/accounting entries when needed.Perform daily cash postings and reconciliationsAssist with daily/weekly and monthly journal entries and the monthly financial close.Cash Handling & Daily Operations:Issue and audit house banksProcess departmental cash-upsBalance vault and assist with bank deposit preparationIssue change and track vouchers, gift certificates, and related itemsMaintain strong internal controls and cash management proceduresAudits & Additional Responsibilities:Assist with inventory and internal auditsSupport departmental projects and process improvementsMaintain strong customer service and communication with homeowners and internal departmentsFollow company policies, procedures, and safety standardsQualifications:Accounting or finance experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesProficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Office preferredStrong work ethic, reliability, and integrity requiredJoin a collaborative accounting team and contribute to the financial success of a dynamic resort environment.
