Paul Conte Cadillac, a family-owned and operated Cadillac dealership selling and servicing New and Pre-Owned Cadillac passenger vehicles on Sunrise Highway in Freeport, NY is hiring Service Technicians of all skills for our extremely busy Service Department. Our Technicians play a critical role as part of our service team, primarily focused on performing maintenance and repairs on vehicles to ensure our customers vehicles operate safely and efficiently. We are a Union shop with excellent pay and benefits.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify issues
- Perform engine repairs and routine maintenance tasks
- Maintain and service brake systems for safety
- Troubleshoot electrical problems using diagnostic tools
- Execute diagnostic testing to diagnose vehicle malfunctions
- Carry out preventive maintenance to extend vehicle life
- Replace worn or damaged parts effectively
- Calibrate vehicle systems to manufacturer specifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in automotive service
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ASE Certifications
- GM Technical Certifications
- Expertise in engine diagnostics, brake systems, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of mechanical repairs
- Experience in preventive maintenance
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
