Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Title Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting Key Responsibilities SEC Reporting Lead end‑to‑end preparation, review, and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, and earnings releases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP. Oversee the development and review of financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, disclosure checklists, and supporting documentation, including tie‑outs and XBRL tagging through Workiva and Wdata. Coordinate closely with Business Units, FP&A, Tax, Investor Relations, and other stakeholders to gather inputs and produce high‑quality disclosures. Support the earnings release process, review press releases and investor presentations, and partner with external auditors to manage quarterly reviews and annual audits. Technical Accounting Evaluate and resolve complex and non‑routine accounting matters through technical research and assessment of alternatives. Develop and document accounting positions via formal technical memos, partnering with the SOX team to design and implement effective controls. Own the accounting policy manual, ensuring timely updates for new pronouncements and business changes, and communicate impacts across the organization. Monitor FASB and SEC developments, assess impact, and lead implementation efforts to ensure compliance. Serve as a subject matter expert to finance leadership and business units, guiding on complex transactions and supporting operationalization of accounting solutions. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification required. 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including strong experience in SEC reporting and technical accounting. Experience with SOX compliance and internal control environments. Leadership & Core Skills Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex accounting topics clearly. Proven ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills and ability to drive initiatives to completion. Demonstrated leadership, ownership, and accountability. Preferred Qualifications Big Four public accounting experience. Experience with complex project‑based or percentage‑of‑completion accounting. Experience with financial systems and reporting tools such as Workiva, Oracle FCCS, and XBRL.
